Holiday: Happy New Year

Long days at home during the holidays

The happy new year jump fest. ( in their xmas pajamas I forgot to take out on xmas- so now new year's pajamas)

new year's interpretive dance

Adventure: Turning four

the night before- ninja mood to get ready for the party
Cole decorated his own cake- Kung Fu Panda and Speed Racer

The theme was really Kung Fu and I did the little karate belts and head bands as party favors. Here is the action. thought I was doing video but obviously I was not. Do not compare my site to the Hood's blog.

Adventure: Cutting our Christmas Tree in Maine this year

the joy of the final project

Lesson: Really give thanks at least once a year

We spent Thanksgiving in Jackson NH this year with Mimi and Popi. Lots of quiet time, snow, hiking. ( rare joey picture I allowed- to show my parents I do exist)

Great house we rented.

In celebration for turkey day Birch's school did an Indian and Pilgram party. Here is his Indian suit. Of course the little Journeycake was an Indian too. The school celebrations still catch me off guard. I show up with pretzels in a bag and other moms have little hand made turkeys made out of marshmellows, pretzels, raisons, etc. Birch still loves me.
