Lesson: Cry as they grow- cherish the young days.

First day of school and Birch leaves on the bus. The system has him now.
While waiting for the bus we meditated and worked on a biodiversity collection of neighborhood weeds.

Aunt Janna visited just before the big day. We love Maine lighthouses.

Travel: Go to the beach as much as you can.

Five Island Lobster Shack- our favorite. We eat, drink wine, and watch the kids play. Tammy and Jeff will get to go here.

Lesson: Stop for adventure on the way to camping.

GREAT WATER HOLES TO BREAK UP LONG DRIVES TO CAMPING SITES.

Don't forget to brush your teeth even when your camping. Shiny teeth boys- well done.

Adventure: Nana Banana and Papa come to town.

Someone tell me how to turn pics the right way on this silly thing- but for now turn your head to see the beautiful Maine lighthouse.

Banks Lobster Shack- Birch and Cole lobster men, Mom cooks, Dad gets the one out of the tank you want, Nana does the books, Papa greets the guests and takes their money, Mimi decorates the shack, and Papi entertains the guests. ( Birch and Cole future lives.)

He never sleeps at night, but in the middle of the day on a roaring pontoon boat- no problem.

Birch contemplates the vastness of Sebago lake.

Adventure: The return to Alaska

Our alaska gang . Growing Growing Growing.

Two bears and bald eagles in the background.
Family hiking time.

We love Alaska.
Lesson: Friends stay friends. You can always go home. We need to continue to protect the world's beautiful places.

Exit glacier and the wind. Mom carrying Cole again.

Lesson: If you say "no TV", be ready for superhero life

Setting limits for TV on Saturday is a good thing, right? But that means less coffee and paper times and more superhero action. "One more cup of coffee please before the fighting starts again." Superdog is a major villian.

adventure: spring fun

Hello- it is spring and life is busy. Camping, friends, beach, and climbing.
(Crazy life of a superhero family as Birch calls us.)

Do parents tell their kids to stay away from the ledge??

Climb boy climb!!!

Cole not a super climber yet- but a superdog already for sure!!!
